Springville Iowa Results

Springville Iowa turned out to be a real nice race!  After a week of heavy rains in the area, the crew there did one heck of a job in getting the track in shape.  With heavy rains expected on Friday night, they tarped the entire track, and part of the shutdown!  I know, who has tarps that big??  Many thanks to Cody Rossman, Darren Wilson and all the guys there for a great show.  Andrea Lamb did take video, but unfortunately due to computer malfunctions we could not get it to upload!

Paperboy, won the race with a blazing pass by Paul Wesinger in the second round.  After Scott's pass in the first round, they discovered a loose wire screwing up the fuel system and that little fix made a huge difference.  Jim Lamb's Full Throttle, which has been on a tear, coming off two wins in Sturgis, broke the rear-end and snapped the blower belt on the first pass.

Condolences to Jeff Heck and Jamie Boyd on the "death" of their first pass.  Jamie laid down the best pass we have ever seen from Lethal Injection, but the timing system malfunctioned and he did not get a time.  Lethal has had bad luck with the "no time" issue all season.  The boys were understandable disappointed, but showed great sportsmanship.  We need to get those guys a lucky pocket watch or something...
