Peat Monster Results

PaperBoy hung on to win at a great race in Morrison.  It was nice to see 7 entries in the Open Drag class at the Peat Monster.  The old track record was broken by both Shawn Barber and Scott in the first round.  This was only the second weekend out for Shawn's Back 'n Black machine, which had the engine rebuilt, and that thing is really flying.  Jeff Heck and Jamie Boyd have got the Lethal Injection running great, and put down two great passes to finish in the top three!  It was also great to see Don Current's new machine, "Road Rage".  Don has not raced for almost 20 years!  Right now, the Road Rage is an injected motor, but may soon be a blower car.  Also, we saw the first couple of runs for Byron Tinkey's Bad Habit, which now sports a blower.  Byron was able to hang with the big boys before having the blower on there, so once he gets that thing dialed in, look out!  Here is how they finished:
